Sport remain winless in the Brasileirão after 10 matches, a disappointing run that now stretches to 12 games in all competitions without a victory. With just three points from three draws and seven defeats, they currently sit seven points adrift of safety and are in desperate need of a turnaround if they are to avoid relegation. However, there were some positives to take from their most recent outing, a 1-1 draw at home against Internacional. Chrystian Barletta gave Sport an early lead inside seven minutes, but they were pegged back in the second half by a Gustavo Prado equaliser. Still, it was a much-improved display, and they’ll now be hoping to finally break their winless streak in this outing.
