24/07/2025 – (Kick Off 23:00 GMT)

The last meeting between these sides came last season, back in Round 37 in December, where goals from Gabriel Taliari and Erick Farias, followed by a late Luciano consolation, saw Juventude enjoy a 2-1 victory away from home at the Morumbi.

Juventude

Juventude sit in 18th place and have three wins, two draws, and eight defeats from their 13 matches so far. Last time out in the league, they suffered a 4-0 hammering at the hands of Cruzeiro, with Christian, Gabriel Barbosa (twice), and Eduardo all getting on the scoresheet. They’ve now won just once in their last 10 league games and remain in the bottom four. It’s been a rough run of form, especially defensively, with 28 goals conceded. Juventude know they must start picking up points quickly if they want to climb out of the bottom four.

São Paulo

São Paulo are unbeaten in their last two matches, and last time out they picked up a much-needed win with a 2-0 victory over fellow Paulista rivals Corinthians. A quickfire brace from Luciano, scoring in the 32nd and 35th minutes, secured just their third win of the season. From their 15 matches, they’ve won 3, drawn 7, and lost 5, which leaves them sitting in 14th place. New manager Hernán Crespo will be pleased with the result and will be hoping his side can build some momentum heading into this fixture against Juventude. With a busy schedule ahead, consistency is now key.
