With 15 games gone, avoiding the drop already looks like a massive uphill battle, but they’ll be hoping to show some fight in the second half of the season.

Bahia are enjoying a solid campaign so far, currently sitting fourth in the table with 28 points from 15 matches. They’ve picked up eight wins, four draws, and three defeats and are unbeaten in their last two matches across all competitions.

Last week, they cruised to a convincing 3-0 home win over Juventude, with Jean Lucas grabbing a brace and Luciano Rodríguez adding the third. That strong league performance was followed up by a 3-2 win in midweek over Retrô in the Copa do Brasil. Once again, Rodríguez impressed with a brace, while William José added the other goal in an entertaining first-leg victory.

Bahia will now be hoping to carry that momentum back into league action as they look to push further up the table.
